On June 5th, 2018, the delegation led by the mayor of Hultvan City of Hungary visited the General Association of Asia-Pacific Sports Federations in Beijing and signed a cooperation agreement with GAAPSF to carry out formally bilateral cooperation and exchanges.

     On June 5th, in the Headquarters of the General Association of Asia-Pacific Sports Federations in Beijing, Mr. Ma Wenguang, President of the GAAPSF, received the delegation led by the Mayor of Hultvan, Hungary, Richard Horvath. Both parties had an amicable meeting and in-depth exchanges, and on the same day, they signed a framework agreement for future cooperation between the two sides, and officially announced that under “One Belt and One Road” context, the GAAPSF and the Hultvan City of Hungary will carry out all-round exchanges and cooperation, focusing on the sports industry, sports education and cultural undertakings and other areas. Using the advantages of the two parties, both sides can further extend and deepen the traditional friendship between the peoples of China and Hungary.

       The GAAPSF is a non-profit legal organisation of comprehensive international sports in Asia and the Pacific regions. It aims to develop training, competitions, education, medical services, scientific research, and market development through organising comprehensive competitions, activities and related fields of work, in order to contribute to the exchange and development of people in Asia Pacific countries and regions.

 

        Hultvan is a town located in the northern part of Hungary, about 60 kilometers from the capital Budapest, under the jurisdiction of Heves. Hultvan has a long history and nice picturesque scenery, most of the local residents are catholics.

 

        Hungary, as the leader of Central and Eastern Europe, was the first European country to sign intergovernmental cooperation agreement with China to jointly promote the development of "One Belt One Road". In recent years, Hungary has shown strong and positive will to cooperate with China.

        

        In this cooperation, the two parties will jointly carry out exchanges and cooperation in sports and sports-related industries based on their respective advantages; both parties will establish a timely and effective communication mechanism to maintain the smooth flow of exchanges and cooperation between the two parties; both parties agreed to regularly organize sports-related forums, conferences, etc., and to promote sports related industries to carry out close mutual visits, maximize the integration and development of the resources of both parties, and jointly promote and develop sports and sports industries in China and Hungary. The delegation led by Richard Horvath of Hungary Hout Wan visited China. The two parties had a cordial meeting and in-depth exchanges. The delegation of Hungary’s Hultvan’s delegation to China also included Ferenc Juhasz, President of the International Police Federation Hungarian Chapter, Dr. Marta Szikszai, Director of the Municipal Office of the Hultvan City Council, Hungary, Ferengc Nagy, Political Consultant of the Municipal Government, and Diana, City Council’s Foreign Affairs Commissioner. Molnar-Tur, Guoyong Liu, Member of the Hungarian Section of the International Police Association, and Hongwei Wang, Chairman of the Hungarian Branch of the Fuanhua Biotechnology Group, and Dr. zhenhui Yang, Commissioner of China Affairs, Hultvan City, Hungary. The vice presidents of the Asia Pacific Sports Federation Association, Yin Jian, Xu Chengtao, and Gao Mingyu accompanied the attendance of the talks and the signing ceremony. (Hoga)
