The Representative Office of the General Association of Asia-Pacific Sports Federations was formally established in Budapest, the capital city of Hungary.
On August 10, 2018, the "The Representative Office of the General Association of Asia-Pacific Sports Federations” was formally established in Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Yang Zhenhui was appointed as the chief representative of the Representative Office in Budapest. Mr. Ma Wenguang, the Executive Chairman of the GAAPSF, Mr. Mariu Vizer, the President of the International Judo Federation, personally witnessed the inauguration ceremony of the Representative Office.
In his speech, Chairman Ma Wenguang first congratulated the representative office of the General Association of Asia-Pacific Sports Federations in Hungary and congratulated the official opening of the 2018 Budapest Judo Grand Prix. Chairman Ma pointed out that Hungary, as the "Leading City" of Central and Eastern Europe, was the first European country to sign a joint government cooperation agreement with China to promote the construction of "One Belt One Road". In recent years, Hungary has shown strong and positive will in cooperation with China.
The establishment of the office in Hungary marks a new level of cooperation in the development of the 16+1 sports industry in Central and Eastern Europe, which has created a new important bridge for the two sides to strengthen friendly exchanges in sports. China is willing to work with Hungarian to deepen the cooperation in sports industry, promote the commonwealth of the people, and promote the continued development of the "16+1 cooperation" and the " One Belt One Road".
The General Association of Asia-Pacific Sports Federations is a non-profit, comprehensive international sports organization in Asia and the Pacific. It aims to contribute to the exchanges and development of people in various countries and regions in the Asia Pacific region by conducting training, competition, education, medical and scientific research, market development, etc.
The establishment of the office will promote the exchanges and cooperation between China and Hungary in the sports and sports related industries according to their respective advantageous resources; establish a timely and effective communication mechanism, maintain the smooth communication and cooperation; regularly organize sports related forums, meetings, etc., and promote sports-related industries to conduct close exchanges of visits, in order to maximize the integration and development of resources between the two countries, and jointly promote and develop the development of sports and sports industries in China and Hungary.
Also attending the inaugural meeting were Vice Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Sports Federation, Wang Jianwei, Vice Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Sports Federation, Yin Jian, Chairman of Zhongyue Technology Co., Ltd., Yang Jiang, Zhongneng Huachen Holding Group Pan Wanqiang and Hungarian Famous Overseas Chinese Zhu Ms. Di, Mr. Paul and other friendly people from all walks of life in China and Hungary.
